Welcome to Troop 7  

St. James -

We are a Scout-led, adult-guided Troop of approx. 35 Scouts, based in St. James, NY. We have a great time in Patrols and with the Troop as we camp and cook outdoors, earn Merit Badges, learn and develop new skills, help build Eagle Scout projects and take part in our local community activities. Our Troop meetings are held on Mondays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Sts. Philip & James R.C. Church in St. James. Troop 7 is in the Benjamin Tallmadge District within the BSA Suffolk County Council.

Merit Badges

We have compiled a list of Merit Badges being offered by Counselors within our Troop.  Please look at our list of Merit Badges and contact the counselor to get started.

 

It is time to think about the February cabin campout. We have the Training Lodge which is near the flagpole right next to the Trading Post and Health Office. This cabin has a bathroom inside as well as a stove so keep in mind the requirements for items you need will be different.  What we need is to secure a list of leaders and scouts that would like to attend this trip. Space is limited and if we require extra space time to secure that space is limited. I would like to see everyone that would like to go to be able to go so please send us an email  that you are going to attend or that you will not attend. This includes Adults and Scouts.
